乔治城大学是一所领先的研究型大学，成立于美国宪法签署的十年之间。它是美国最古老的天主教和耶稣会大学。自2017年起，中美交流基金会（CUSEF）与乔治城大学美中全球议题对话项目合作，每年都会邀请研究生到访中国进行实地考察，借此让他们认识及了解中国。
