Zou Shuang is Artistic Director of the Beijing Music Festival and an opera/theatre director. Educated at the London Film School, she began her career as an Assistant Director at venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Garsington Opera, Northern Ireland Opera, and the Lithuanian National Opera. Since returning to Beijing, she has adapted European musical theatre for Chinese audiences, directing acclaimed productions such as ‘Songs of Nature’, ‘Orfeo’, and ‘Turandot’ with the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra.
