Philip Chiu is Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), Shun Hing Education and Charity Fund Professor of Robotic Surgery, and the Director of Multi-Scale Medical Robotics Center of CUHK. He also serves as the Director of Endoscopy of Prince of Wales Hospital and the New Territories East Cluster of the Hong Kong Hospital Authority. An internationally renowned scholar and robotic surgery pioneer, Professor Chiu has received numerous awards for his achievements, including the PRC's State Scientific Technology and Progress Award (2007).
