Zhou Rongguo is Director-General of the Bureau for North American, Oceanian and Nordic Affairs at the International Department of the CPC Central Committee. He began his career in the Department, serving successively as Deputy Division Director, Division Director and Deputy Director-General. Mr. Zhou previously served as Political Counsellor at the Chinese Embassy in the United States.
