Wang Jisi is the Founding President of the Institute of International and Strategic Studies at Peking University, serving as president from 2013-2022. A leading scholar on China-U.S. relations and global strategy, he previously directed the Institute of American Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and served on the Foreign Policy Advisory Committee of China’s Foreign Ministry (2008-2016). His research focuses on U.S. foreign policy, Asian security, and global politics.
