The 2nd Sanya Initiative expands to multiple U.S. locations, including Hawaii, Washington and New York in November 2009. U.S. Secretary of State Hillary meets with the retired generals in Washington DC.
The Sanya Initiative is held in Annapolis, Maryland in 2012. Delegates from China and the U.S. pose at the US Naval Academy.
