Track II Seminars

CUSEF creates these Track II seminars where senior officials, business leaders, and Think Tank experts from China and the United States can freely express their opinions and listen to different voices, hence continuously enhancing their consensus on bilateral issues and jointly explore solutions to global issues.

China-U.S. Young Leaders Dialogue
In 2012, Foundation sponsored “China-U.S. Young Leaders Dialogue: China-U.S. Relations in a Global Context” in cooperation with China Institute of International Studies is held in Beijing.
Seminar on Energy Safety with Securing America’s Future Energy
In March 2011, CUSEF invited the experts from Securing America’s Future Energy (SAFE) to visit China, hosting dialogues between SAFE and China's Ministry of Science and Technology on renewable energy and energy safty issues.
Seminars Coorganized with the Brookings Institution
In 2010-2011, CUSEF collaborated with the Brookings Institution to host the "China's Politicial Development," bringing together the Chinese and American scholars to explore China's political development over the past three decades and future reforms, as well as related global and bilateral policy issues.
Seminars Coorganized with U.S. Association of Former Members of Congress
CUSEF collaborated with the U.S. Association of Former Members of Congress (FMC) to hold seminars, discussing new insights on the future of China-U.S. relations, the Indo-Pacific, Taiwan issue, the Ukraine crisis, and the impact of U.S.-China relations on Europe.
Seminars on U.S.-China Relations
CUSEF has co-organized a series of seminars on U.S.-China Relations with Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), the Carter Center, the George W. Bush Foundation, the Center for American Progress and other American institutions to explore bilateral relations, economic and trade cooperation, climate change and energy cooperation, etc. The first Seminar on U.S.-China Relations was held in 2012.
