Dr. Henry Kissinger’s Life and Legacy

Dr. Henry Kissinger’s Life and Legacy

On this day, one year since his passing, we celebrate the long and accomplished life of CUSEF Honorary Advisor and 56th U.S. Secretary of State, Dr. Henry Kissinger.

His life encapsulated the American Dream, having escaped the Holocaust and moving to the U.S. Dr. Kissinger was not only a refugee, but would serve his new country for the next eight decades

Among his greatest achievements was the contribution he made to the eventual establishment of U.S.-China relations — ushering in a new era of peace and prosperity. In 2023, at the age of 100, he traveled to Beijing one last time.

Watch this tribute by CUSEF Governor Ronnie Chan’s to the life and legacy of Dr. Kissinger at our annual meeting on November 15, 2024.
