The China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF) was thrilled to welcome a U.S. delegation of 25 students from two high schools and six universities, including Sidwell Friends School, Germantown Friends School, College of William and Mary, Haverford College, University of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University, Virginia Tech and Washington University of St. Louis. The delegation visited Beijing and Hong Kong in China from late July to early August.

During their visit in Beijing from July 16th to 20th, the students had the opportunity to explore the Great Wall, the Temple of Heaven and the Forbidden City. They later visited U.S. Embassy and Center for China and Globalization (CCG) where they had a meeting with Ma Jun, director of Institute of Public & Environmental Affairs (IPE).

They also shared their experience of cultural exchanges with their peers from Tsinghua University High School during their visit to the Center for International Security and Strategy at Tsinghua University.

During their Hong Kong visit on August 7th to 10th, the students visited Hong Kong Palace Museum, the City Gallery, and the University of Hong Kong. They also met with Gregory May, U.S. Consulate General in Hong Kong & Macau.

James Chau, President of the China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF), received the students at CUSEF's Hong Kong office, sharing with them the significance of cultural exchanges and friendship between peoples.
