In March 2024, students from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy engage in discussions with faculty and students at Peking University.

The China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF) is delighted to host students from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy to China. The delegation embarked on a visit to Beijing from March 9th to 12th, where they experienced the city’s arts and culture scene, held discussions with students and professors from Peking University about the bilateral relationship, and met with various economic, foreign affairs, and education leaders.

Their final stop in Beijing is the 798 Art District, the renowned vibrant artistic and cultural hub and factory spaces for galleries and art centers.

Continuing their journey, the students will proceed to Xi’an and Shanghai.

The visit of the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy came just a few months after Presidents Biden and Xi met with San Francisco and mutually pledged to increase academic exchanges, and is our second student exchange visit of the year. After a few long pandemic years, we’re thrilled to support the revival of international travel and student exchanges.
