The Second Harvard Kennedy School China Study Group

In partnership with the Harvard University Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation and the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), CUSEF organized the second Harvard Kennedy School China Study Group visit. The visit was held between May 15th and May 24th 2016. Seventeen HKS graduate students from various backgrounds, with expertise in finance, trade, military and foreign policy were selected to participate in the program. During the 10-day visit, the student delegation visited Beijing, Xi’An and Shanghai where they were able to meet with a number of government officials, community leaders, university students and scholars. Some of the program highlights include the meeting with Major General Yao Yunzhu, Academy of Military Science of the PLA, meeting with Professor Yu Keping, Dean of Peking University's School of Government, and a visit to Xi’ An Foreign Studies University where the delegates interacted and exchanged views with more than 50 Chinese students.
