The students attend seminars, cultural tours and performances to learn about Chinese history, politics, culture and clean energy development during their two-week visit.

In 2014, The China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF) successfully hosted five groups of African-American students from the United States for study tours in China. The delegates were composed of outstanding students selected from various high schools and universities across the U.S., with two groups mainly consisting of high school students.

The delegates visited Beijing, Hangzhou, and Shanghai. The students visited Beijing Language and Culture University, Beijing Foreign Studies University, and Hangzhou Wanxiang Polytechnic. They also toured major attractions in Beijing, Hangzhou, and Shanghai, enjoyed performances of traditional Chinese arts, and experienced modern transportation such as high-speed trains and long-distance buses. These activities gave the students a deeper understanding of China's history, culture, and modern development.

This year, we have hosted promising student groups to China, which include:

1. Chicago Urban League’s Student Mission to China Program (CUL)

2. Northern California Delegation of “Think China” China-US Study Exchange Program

3. Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s District Visit to China

4. MoE and CBCF Student Group

5. Representative Marcia L. Fudge's Student Delegation from Ohio
