U.S.-China Forum: Addressing Inequality and Promoting Social Welfare

This year, together with the University of Chicago’s UCHICAGO Global and the Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice, the China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF) co-hosted the 6th annual U.S.-China Forum: Addressing Inequality and Promoting Social Welfare.

Held between November 16-18, 2021, attendees discussed various approaches to solving social issues such as poverty, health and equity in education, and ways in which governments and social service providers should work together to tackle these issues. Professor Wang Zhenyao of Beijing Normal University gave a keynote address about the development of philanthropy in China.
