CUSEF brings students from the top U.S. universities and colleges to China for immersed academic study tours since 2016, with a complete itinerary of subject-linked academic programs, company visits, meetings with government officials, think tanks and leading professionals, cultural activities, as well as professors and students from Chinese universities.

Rule of Law Program 2023

Program background:
Since 2016, for two weeks each May, U.S. law students from top U.S. law schools have traveled to China to see firsthand the Chinese government and legal systems. These students have met with Chinese officials, law associations, law professors and students, and observed Chinese legal proceedings. CUSEF also supports an annual 4-week program for top Chinese law students to visit Washington, DC since 2008. To date, 77 top Chinese law students have interacted powerfully with American leaders and legal culture (virtually in 2020-2021; hybrid 2022; in-person the other 13 years).
